Below is a great hydrographic map regarding the varying depths of water in Big Bear Lake. If you’re concerned about the water level in a particular area, you can always use this map as a reference. It reinforces my opinion that the east end of the valley is more shallow than the west end and if you’re looking for a deep water lakefront focus on the west end of town and towards the point of the peninsulas.
