386 Meadow Circle just came back on the market. I expect this one to sell fast! I wrote about this property back in June of 2009 (click here to read). It didn’t sell. It was in escrow and there was complications with the foreclosure process (yes, it’s bank owned), so they took it off the market and made sure they had clear title before they put it back on the market. It was listed at $847,900 back then and had an offer within the first month….now it’s listed at $739,900. My guess is the bank is trying to get it bid up with multiple offers.
Built in 1997, this Eagle’s Knoll log-style home has 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and covers roughly 2300 square feet. Recent sales for this property include a $985,000 purchase price (in April of 2005) and $1,500,000 as a flip in December of 2006. How much it gets bid up should be interesting, but for a lakefront in Big Bear at this price I would think this one will definitely get some good activity. The area is gated, flat, and centrally located to shopping, skiing, etc. Click on my previous post to view interior photos.
Let’s see if this one lasts a week. My guess is it will be in escrow by Friday.
UPDATE: Sure enough. Property went into escrow over the ask price on Friday January 29th (there were 4 offers that came in during the week….so it didn’t even make it to the weekend). Below are the stats on this sale.
