Positives: I like the number of bedrooms (3), bathrooms (4), the fact that it’s towards the point which gives you deeper water and nice views. I like the living area being on the main floor and the game room on the bottom floor (good seperation for kids to play and be loud…and good seperation for parents/grandparents to play and be loud).
Negatives: A lot of up and down (3 levels). No bedrooms on the main floor, you have to go downstairs to all 3 bedrooms, and you have to go down another level in order to get to the game room. It doesn’t have a garage and it doesn’t look like much from the street. I like the fact that its at the end of a cul de sac, but the street frontage is very small (13′).
The list price is $1,595,000 and it’s currently listed with ReMax’s Bryan Iverson. This property has been on the market for 45 days and is competing against 32 other lakefront homes currently on the market. We’ve had 3 closed sales so far this year on the lake and 2 pending sales….probably the most interesting stat is the fact that one buyer bought 3 out of the 5 homes (someone’s bullish on Big Bear and the lakefront market!).
